Job Title: Program & Partnerships Lead – POOL 2.0
Location: Remote (U.S.-based preferred)
Type: Contract-to-hire (Initial 6-month contract with intent to convert to full-time)
About PARTSLIFE U.S.
PARTSLIFE is a trusted name in environmental compliance and sustainability in the European automotive aftermarket, with 30 years of expertise supporting parts producers, private labelers, OEMs, and retailers. In 2025, PARTSLIFE launched U.S. operations to support the growing burden of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) legislation and related sustainability requirements.
PARTSLIFE U.S. is building two major platforms:
• SPHERE: A compliance automation and reporting solution that helps producers manage EPR requirements across packaging, batteries, oil, electronics, tires, and more.
• POOL 2.0 is a logistics and recovery coordination platform that enables compliant and efficient material recovery from the mobility aftermarket—starting with oil, plastics, and electronics. The platform supports not just pickup coordination, but also the tracking, reporting, and auditability of recovered materials to meet evolving state and producer-level regulatory requirements.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape a product from the ground up, in a sector undergoing rapid regulatory and operational transformation. You’ll be joining a small, mission-driven team with deep ties to both the regulatory and automotive ecosystem.
The Role
We are seeking a Program & Partnerships Lead to take ownership of POOL 2.0. This role is multifaceted and entrepreneurial, requiring someone who can develop industry partnerships, design and run pilots, contribute to product and go-to-market strategy, and help build the internal infrastructure needed to support customers.
You will work closely with producers, recyclers, Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs), state agencies, and large parts groups to:
• Develop and implement a national go-to-market strategy for POOL 2.0.
• Design and test pilot programs with producers (e.g., oil companies), recyclers, and waste service providers.
• Build relationships with recyclers and logistics partners to bring them into the platform and understand their operational needs.
• Engage with PROs (e.g., LPMA, CAA) and their members to support compliant recovery of materials like plastics and used oil, and ensure reporting obligations to states are met.
• Support state-level coordination by enabling accurate reporting through PROs or other partners.
• Collaborate with large parts groups to deliver POOL 2.0 as part of their support infrastructure for independent repair shops, recognizing that a shop-by-shop approach is not scalable.
• Co-develop the POOL 2.0 pricing model and support structure with the U.S. Managing Director.
• Build internal processes and infrastructure for customer service and partner support as POOL scales.
• Gather operational and market insights to help shape both the product roadmap and long-term business model.
Qualifications
Required:
• 3–7+ years of experience in waste management, recycling logistics, or circular economy programs.
• Proven ability to build cross-sector partnerships and run pilot programs.
• Experience navigating regulatory or compliance-driven environments.
• Familiarity with Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs) and U.S. EPR frameworks.
• Strong communication, systems thinking, and program design skills.
Preferred:
• Background in the automotive aftermarket, oil recovery, or related sectors.
• Experience working with or advising state agencies or industry groups.
• Exposure to data tracking platforms, compliance tools, or supply chain software.
Mindset:
• Open to new technologies, including AI, automation, and data analytics tools.
• Values process improvement and challenges the status quo.
• Comfortable in ambiguity, with a proactive, builder mentality.
• Excited by the opportunity to shape a product, go-to-market strategy, and internal operations from the ground up.
Additional Details
• Reports to: U.S. Managing Director
• This is a contract-to-hire role with a clear path to full-time conversion based on mutual fit and milestone progress.
